Sponsorship Opportunities

Dupont Underground is a non-profit community arts organization run almost entirely by volunteers. Their goal is to be committed to developing a multidisciplinary platform for creative expression and they strive to reflect the diversity of our community – both artists and audiences.

Dupont Underground is comprised of 15,000 square feet of repurposed infrastructural space beneath the city’s iconic Dupont Circle - a nexus of Washington’s cultural, civic, and commercial life. Opened in 1949 as a trolley station, 75,000 square feet of underground platforms and tunnels were closed off in 1962 when the city’s streetcar system shut down.

Designated as a fallout shelter in the late 1960s and hosting a short-lived food court on the West platform in the mid-1990s, the space was abandoned until 2016 when it was repurposed as Dupont Underground. The Dupont Underground hosts projects and work that might not be an easy fit in more conventional venues making it a perfect collaborative venue for Going Underground: Halloween.

Nora Lee is a full-service events and marketing company based in Washington D.C.
